Some places are wasted at eye level.

We film properties from the air and the ground, grade every frame by hand, and hand back a finished film and a stills library from a single visit.

Aerial and ground from one team
Colour graded, delivered ready to publish

The studio

Two people, one look, start to finish.

Most aerial work is sold by pilots who are learning photography, or by photographers who do not fly. We are both, and it shows in the part clients notice without being able to name it: the drone footage and the ground stills actually match.

One team plans the shoot, flies it, shoots the detail, grades everything to a single treatment, and delivers it in the formats you are going to publish in. Nothing is handed off. Nothing arrives looking like it came from two different jobs.

Selected work

The reel

Ninety seconds. Aerial and ground, across every sector we work in.

Video slot reel Full showreel, 60 to 90 seconds, on the home page and portfolio page.

Colour

The grade is the job.

Footage straight off the card is deliberately flat, because flat footage holds the most information. What it is not is finished. Every frame we deliver is corrected for white balance, matched across the whole shoot so a 7am clip cuts against a 2pm clip, and then graded to a look chosen for your property.

Drag the handle. Same frame, same camera, same second.

The moves, and when each one earns its place

Every aerial move says something different. Knowing which one a property needs is the difference between footage and a film.

Orbit

The camera circles a fixed subject at a constant radius, keeping it centred while the background rotates behind it.

Clubhouses, hero vehicles, buildings

Reveal

The drone rises or pushes over a foreground object so the subject appears from behind it. The most reliable opening shot there is.

Signature holes, resort arrivals

Nadir

Camera pointed straight down at 90 degrees. Turns a property into a graphic composition and reads as deliberate rather than accidental.

Course layouts, lot inventory

Fly-through

A continuous move through a gap, gate, or doorway. Creates a sense of scale and geography that cuts cannot.

Village walkways, service bays

Parallax

Lateral movement close to a foreground element so it slides against a distant background. Reads as depth on a flat screen.

Tree lines, ridge lines, façades

Tracking

The drone matches the speed and direction of a moving subject, holding it steady in frame while the world moves.

Vehicles, skiers, golf carts

Top-down push

Straight down while descending or climbing. The scale change does the storytelling without any cut.

Where we work

Both sides of the border

We are based in Montreal, which puts northern Vermont and the Adirondacks closer than most of Quebec. Crossing the border is routine for us, not an exception.

Canada

  • Montreal
  • Mont-Tremblant
  • Eastern Townships
  • Ottawa and Eastern Ontario

United States

  • Burlington and northern Vermont
  • Stowe, Jay Peak and Killington
  • Plattsburgh and the Adirondacks
  • Lake Placid and Whiteface

Ski country in Vermont and Upstate New York is within a few hours of us, and so is a great deal of golf. If your property is further out, ask anyway. We travel for work worth doing.

Send the location and what it is for. We will come back with an honest recommendation, a fixed price, and the times of day worth shooting it.
